Ammunition is now so rare and expensive that we have had to increase our ammunition prices to $40 a box.  We are sorry about the increase and wish that we could do something else about it. We have taken the steps to sell ammo in smaller quantities just for qualification. We will sell you EXACTLY what you need to complete your training/qualification. 

Welcome to the NFI  Ladies CCW Firearms Training Program. Students can book NFI-authorized instructors to teach numerous disciplines from the comfort of their own property or with a small group of folks. This is a CCW  class scheduled by LB with Ted Lidie and was opened to the public on 3/1/21 for a class on 3/13/21 from 8 AM -5 PM.

Ammo Packages available during this course. Ammunition used during the course can be provided at $40 per box.  Ca State law prohibits students from leaving the range with this ammo. All full and unused boxes will be refunded on site, using cash only.  Ammo calibers available are 22LR, 22WMR, .380, .38 Spc, .40, 9MM, .45.  In the notes section during registration just leave us a note, stating how many cartridges and what calibers you will need for the course. we will deliver them to the range. Please have a check or cash available as we cannot use a credit card on the range.

CCW Course Requirements: 8 Hour minimum and live-fire qualification with each firearm listed on a permit.

COUNTIES COVERED:

Currently, this class will meet the training requirement for the following counties: Shasta, Butte, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Colusa, Tehama,  Trinity, Siskiyou, Placer, Yuba, Solano, and Sutter.  It does not meet the required training for the City of Red Bluff, as they require 12 hours of class. This is an 8-hour CCW Class that is recognized in many (43) counties/cities that require 8 hours of training in California. If your county/city is not listed please contact the instructor listed below to check on the authorization.

CLASS DETAILS:

The class will meet at the Cottonwood Community Center located at 20595 Gas Point Rd, Cottonwood, CA 96022.

NFI Instructor Ted Lidie will furnish all supplies and forms needed for the course.

Please bring note-taking materials and completed documents attached below.

Class Schedule: 8 AM-12 PM, classroom session to learn laws and basic firearm safety.

1-5 PM, range training will take place and along with required qualification with each firearm listed on the CCW permit.  Please bring firearms and 50 cartridges for your primary handgun and 50 cartridges for all others you wish to list on your CCW permit. You will qualify with each gun from 7 yards into a round target about the size of a standard paper plate. Range qualification will take place at Stout Family Ranch, 12100 Gas Point Rd, Igo, CA 96047. Directions will be given to range on the day of your class, it is about 20 minutes going West on Gas Point Rd to the Range.

Cancellation Policy: Training fees include a 50% non-refundable deposit. Cancellations prior to the start of the class will be given a 50% refund of training fees, or a one-time reschedule of training within one year. Students who are absent from any portion of a class without notice will not be eligible for a refund. Please contact your instructor as early as possible to cancel your class.
