Join the Northern Firearms Professional Staff and KW Defense for the 16 Hour course that will empower and challenge you! This class meets the required training for a CCW application in the following counties and cities: Stanislaus, Calaveras, Fresno, Kings, Madera, Merced, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Stockton (city), and Tulare County.

Although this training does meet the mandated training requirements in the counties and cities listed, it does not guarantee the issuance of a CCW.  This can only be done by the local issuing agency.  Regardless, the NFI CCW Class will teach you how to purchase, store, transport, and use a personal protection firearm! Many of our students live in areas that do not issue CCW permits, yet they are still serious about personal protection; get the training you need to safely and responsibly protect you and your family.

This class is taught by Chuck Fields, Senior Instructor for NFI.

Chuck’s credentials include CA DOJ Certified Firearms Instructor, Nationally Certified Multi-Discipline Firearms Instructor, Nationally Certified Chief Range Safety Officer, Military Veteran/Helicopter Pilot, and former Law Enforcement Officer.

It will cover two days and 16 hours.  Class hours are 9 AM to 5 PM.

There is no need for any training before we begin our day at the KW Range. Shooters of all experience levels will begin with marksmanship, manipulation, and retention to use a personal protection firearm effectively.

On each day, we will break for lunch at around 12:00 PM.
