Ammo Packages available during this course. Due to the ammo shortage please shoot your own ammo if you can. We are rationing ammo to ensure all students have access to  CCW courses. Please do not purchase ammo if you have some to shoot.  Ammunition used during the course can be provided at $25 a box of 50 cartridges. Ca State law prohibits students from leaving the range with this ammo. All full and unused boxes will be refunded on site. Ammo calibers available are 22LR, 22WMR, .380, .38 Spc, .40, 9MM, .45.  Please leave a note about which caliber of ammo you will need when registering for the course and it will be delivered to the student on the range.

Shasta County Residents are approved to attend this on-line experience to apply for their CA CCW/CCW Renewal. Many other counties are approving this educational experience also. CLASS DETAILS:

Chief Instructor Ted Lidie will direct the online portion of the course. NFI Senior Instructors will direct the range qualifications.

The class will meet on-line via zoom at 5 PM on the date of the class. The class will be available to log in 30 minutes prior to get any technical questions answered and make sure your equipment will run correctly.  Students will receive login information via email the day before the actual class starts. Students must have an internet connection, a laptop, pad/phone, or desktop with a microphone and camera, (alternately for audio you can call in, but you still must have a camera to attend the class). Phones and laptops are also great to attend this class via ZOOM. We will have no more students in class than can be seen and interacted with on one screen. This ensures a premium educational experience.

Live fire qualifications on day two will take place at The Redding Gun Club, 21777 Seven Lakes Lane, Redding, Ca 96003.

Alternate Dates (same time and location) Contact your Instructor if you cannot make the range qualification–we will make other arrangements.

Please follow the directions at the link attached below.

For range sessions, students will meet at the gate to the Rifle and Pistol Range at 8:00 AM. The gate will be closed until 8:00 AM. AN NFI Instructor will open the gate and escort you to the range where your training will begin.

Class Schedule Day Two:, 8 AM-12 PM. There is a minimum four-hour training requirement for range qualification. The qualification will take place with each firearm listed on the CCW permit.  Please bring firearms and 50 cartridges per handgun.  You will qualify with each gun from 7 yards into a round target about the size of a standard paper plate.
