WHAT: NRA California CCW Course  Taught by NRA Training Counselor Ted Lidie, students will learn how to safely and responsibly use a personal protection handgun, this includes live-fire training. This course also satisfies the prerequisite to become an NRA CCW Instructor. The NRA CCW Instructor course will be held on 5/26-27/22 at this same location.

Students will complete their required CCW training allowing them to apply for a CCW in the following counties: Calaveras, Colusa, City of Corcoran, City of Corning, El Dorado County, City of Fresno, Fresno County, Glenn County, City of Hanford, Kern County, Kings County, Lassen County, Madera County, Merced County, Modoc, County, Napa County, Nevada County, City of Petaluma, Placer County, City of Red Bluff*, Sacramento County*, San Benito County*, San Joaquin County*, City of Santa Rosa*, Shasta County, Siskiyou County, Solano County, Stanislaus County*, City of Stockton*, Sutter County, Tehama County, Trinity County, Tulare County, Yolo County*, Yuba County, Tuolomne County, City of Weed. Completing this course does not automatically qualify you for a CCW. Only the issuing agency in your county or city can approve you for a CCW. This course does however satisfy the training requirement for the CCW permit in the listed counties/cities.

• *Denotes a 16-hour class requirement. If combined with the NRA Basic Pistol Course on 5/23/22, the NRA Pistol Instructor Course on 5/24/22, or the NRA CCW Instructor Course on 5/26-27/22, this class will qualify for the CCW training requirement in these counties.

Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites to attend this course. Cost: $250 per student for the day includes all training, books, targets, and range fees.

This course is just one day of a week-long professional series of classes designed to provide the NRA Instructor with several disciplines including NRA Shotgun Instructor, NRA Rifle Instructor, NRA Basic Pistol Instructor, and NRA CCW Instructor! 100 Cartridges. Ammunition packages can be purchased for this course for $80.00 per 100 cartridges.

Cancelation Policy: Like any other reserved seating event, this event has costs associated with your reservation. There is a 50% non-refundable deposit associated with your reservation. If you contact a live person at NFI prior to the course start time to request a cancelation we are happy to refund 50% of your training fees.
