The NFI SHOTGUN DEFENSE LEVEL 1 Course is intended for the shotgun user who is looking to increase their shotgun defensive capabilities.

The course is intended to build upon and expand the skills developed in the Introduction course.

CLASS DETAILS:

Class will meet at the Redding Gun Club at 21777 Seven Lakes Road Redding Ca 96003

We will take a lunch at 12pm so please bring something to eat as well as plenty of water and snacks.

Application of Shotgun in self-defense.  Advantages and Disadvantages.

Expanded Reloading and Operational applications

Scenario based training – cover & movement

Multiple target engagement and analysis

Home defense concepts

RANGE PACKING LIST:

Please bring the following items to the range:

Shotgun you plan on shooting.  All firearms must be cased.  Shotguns must come with an operational safety.

200 cartridges (50 slugs, 50 00 Buckshot, 100 Target loads)

Hand Towel

Eye and Ear Protection

Lunch + Snacks and drinks if desired.  Students will not be allowed to leave the range for lunch.

Folding chair for breaks and lunch at the range

Closed-toed shoes

A fanny back or shotgun shell caddy to hold extra rounds.

Optional but recommended Items: Knee and Elbow Pads

Cancellation Policy: Training fees include a 50% non-refundable deposit. Cancellations prior to the start of the class will be given a 50% refund of training fees, or a one-time reschedule of training within one year. Students who are absent from any portion of a class without notice will forfeit all training fees. Please contact your instructor as early as possible to cancel your class.
