Classroom Time:  Welcome to the NFI Basics of Pistol Shooting Course. Students will learn pistol types, operation, maintenance, ammunition fundamentals, hold control, aiming, trigger control, and follow-through. This class serves as an outstanding introduction to handguns as well as an excellent opportunity for students with some handgun experience to refine those all-important fundamentals of marksmanship – the foundation for all skill sets moving forward.

Range Time: Students will perform both dry (unloaded) and live-fire exercises learning the basics of handling and shooting a firearm accurately. Please bring a firearm and 100 cartridges to complete the class. Using your own firearm is highly recommended. We are able to provide a handgun to students on a very limited basis.
