This 4-hour course is taught by NFI Instructor Paul Robins. Paul is a college professor that has also been an instructor at Front Sight Firearms Training Institute. He is currently an NRA Certified CCW Instructor and California DOJ Certified Firearms Instructor. Come benefit from his extensive classroom and range experience. Paul’s wife Bridget (also an NRA Pistol Instructor and Range Safety Officer) will be there to assist with the class (and keep an eye on Paul).

Cost: $135 + $30 Range & Classroom Fee = $165

Classroom Time:  Welcome to the NFI Basics of Pistol Shooting Course. Students will learn the fundamentals of SAFELY handling, loading, and shooting a handgun. The class will discuss the various pistol types and their operation, ammunition choices, and marksmanship. This class serves as an outstanding introduction to handguns as well as an excellent opportunity for students with some handgun experience to refine those all-important fundamentals– the foundation for all skill sets moving forward.

Range Time: Students will perform both dry (unloaded) and live-fire exercises learning the basics of handling and shooting a firearm accurately. Please bring a firearm and 100 cartridges to complete the class. Using your own firearm is highly recommended. We are able to provide a handgun to students on a very limited basis.

The class will meet at The Gun Range, 3479 Orange Grove Ave, North Highlands, CA .

The class will be held from 5 to 9 pm.

Cancellation Policy: Training fees include a 50% non-refundable deposit. Cancellations prior to the start of the class will be given a 50% refund of training fees, or a one-time reschedule of training within one year. Students who are absent from any portion of a class without notice will forfeit all training fees. Please contact your instructor as early as possible to cancel your class.
