NFI now offers our world-class instruction to new shooters each and every month with our NFI Basic Pistol Course. You do not need a firearm or ANY experience to take this course as we are happy to provide both for you to learn how to safely and responsibly use a pistol. Of course, we ALWAYS recommend you use your own pistol as this is the best way to learn to shoot.

Ammo Packages available during this course. NFI is happy to provide .22 LR ammunition for your course completion.

All other ammunition used during the course can be provided at $25 a box of 50. We also have smaller boxes for those who do not need 50 cartridges, as in the case of simply qualifying a gun for your CCW permit. Ca State law prohibits students from leaving the range with this ammo. All full and unused boxes will be refunded on site.  Ammo calibers available are  22WMR, .380, .38 Spc, .40, 9MM, .45.  Select the ammo you need when registering, leave a message in the notes section, and it will be delivered to the student on the range.

CLASS DETAILS:

The class will meet at The Oxford Suites,1967 Hilltop Dr, Redding, CA 96002. 1:00 PM. The class will break for the evening at 4:00 PM and reconvene at 8:00 Sunday morning at the Redding Gun Club.

The Redding Gun Club,- 21777 Seven Lakes Lane, Redding, Ca 96003 8 Am-12 PM. Students will learn to shoot in a relaxed environment with a professional instructor. .22 caliber handguns will be provided at no cost.  Students will graduate at 11:30 AM and be dismissed at 12:00 PM.

Please follow the directions at the link attached below to arrive at the Redding Gun Club. Students will meet at the gate to the Rifle and Pistol Range at 8:00 AM. The gate MAY be closed. AN NFI Instructor will open the gate and escort you to the range where your training will begin at 8:00 AM. Please do not enter the range before 8:00 Am as the instructors are busy preparing the range for the day’s activities.
