We will be hosting an NRA Rifle Instructor Course at the Sacramento Valley Shooting Center. We will begin the class at 8am. Classroom location will be sent the week before class starts in your confirmation email. This class is designed for the firearms training professional and is not a “show up and graduate” course. Students will be taught the “NFI way” to market classes, prepare for a class, present material, and run a safe qualification range. NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) is taught at the Sacramento Valley Shooting Center on May 20th from 9-3pm. All instructor candidates must have completed BIT within 24 months to become a credentialed rifle instructor. There is no charge for this class. Please sign up when you register for the Instructor Course.
Documents will be shared electronically, with students and we will be going over things like social media marketing, etc, so if you have a fear of modern business processes, this class is the one for you!—We are hoping to force you into uncomfortable learning spaces until you get it and join the 21st century!
We will provide all rifles and ammunition, but of course, you can bring your own, in fact, we HIGHLY recommend it! If you bring your own to learn with it will make you that much better in front of students! You can bring any caliber, but we will only provide ammo for .22LR. We will provide .22LR rifles to shoot as well as ammunition.
